Saturday Kitchen star James Martin is to host this year’s Re:fresh Awards at the Intercontinental Park Lane Hotel in London on 17 May.
The TV chef will compere the glittering ceremony, which will celebrate the many achievements of the fresh produce industry.
Martin has been successful for many years with his various series on UKTV Food. He also writes a weekly column for the Mail on Sunday's Live magazine on cars and motoring, as well as writing food columns for BBC Good Food Magazine and Sky Magazine.
His many best-selling books include Eating In With James Martin, The Deli Cookbook, and The Saturday Kitchen Cookbook, among many others.
Martin is a passionate supporter of British food and uses the best ingredients to create simple, delicious recipes accessible to all.
Meanwhile Albert Bartlett’s international director Colin Smith is the latest big industry name to sign up to speak at the Re:fresh conference earlier on 17 May. Smith will discuss Innovation in Brands, while Noel Kershaw of Delifresh will talk about the wide range of innovation taking place in the foodservice arena.
Dom Lane of Bray Leino will also be on the programme to talk about engaging consumers.
