TV channel sought for market documentary

A pilot for potential factual TV series The Three Musketeers had its debut at the NABMA conference in Buxton last week.

Brainchild of Warrington Borough Council’s marketing manager Steve Pickering, the TV programme concept involves three characters - an historian, a chef and a shopper - played by actors ‘time travelling’ from market to market throughout the UK.

Pickering appealed to NABMA members to help him in his mission, which he has taken on mostly in his spare time, by providing information.

“We want to get a major TV channel to pick this up and the pilot is a very small part of the pitch,” he said. “But our strength is doing it together.”
