Trade exhibitors and visitors from Asia and the rest of the world are gearing up for Asia’s only trade exhibition for the international fresh fruit and vegetable business, taking place in Hong Kong at the beginning of September.

Gérald Lamusse, managing director of Global Produce Events GmbH, the joint venture company that organises Asia Fruit Logistica, said: “Strong interest on both the exhibitor and visitor side has come from every part of the fresh produce business and from all over the world. More than 200 exhibitors have signed up so far and we are expecting as many as 3,500 trade visitors to come to Hong Kong for this year’s show.”

Asia Fruit Logistica takes place on September 2-4 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. The three-day trade exhibition runs alongside the Asiafruit Congress.

“Your attendance at Asia Fruit Logistica and the Asiafruit Congress really is the best investment you can make for your company in Asia this year,” said Lamusse. “Together, they offer you a fantastic opportunity to make new business contacts in Asia, learn about the new developments in the market, and network with industry leaders.”

Exhibitors at this year’s event come from more than 30 different countries. They include all the leading markets in Asia, such as China, Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, and the Philippines, as well as leading supply countries such as the US, Australia, New Zealand, France, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Belgium, South Africa, Argentina, Peru and, for the first time, Brazil and Chile.
