Tozer Seeds has announced key new appointment, with Roger Vickers joining its commercial team in the role of product and key account manager.
Vickers has a strong background in plant science and joins the Cobham-based company after many years' experience in the seed industry, particularly in commercial, marketing and product management roles within the UK and Europe.
For the last five years he was employed by seed technology specialist Germain’s Technology Group, working in business development, having moved from the position of European sales manager for horticulture.
Vickers’ role at Tozer Seeds will be to manage the portfolio of products across the group emerging from the celery and parsnip breeding programmes and to take care of certain key accounts within the UK. He will be based in Lincolnshire.
