A tour of Bristol Port, Bristol Fruit Market and the state of the art Fresh Produce Terminal is being held to show the opportunities the city offers.

The event, which also culminates in a tour of a Tesco distribution centre, has been organised by the Fresh Produce Consortium.

The Port is situated on the edge of the M5 and is around 40 miles closer to the supermarket regional distribution centres than any other port.
