Total Produce’s Dutch subsidiary Total Produce BV has joined forces with fellow Dutch importer Vevici Fruit BV.
The bolt-on merger was sealed on May 1 and the new business is trading as Total Produce BV.
In a joint statement issued by the companies, their directors said: “By uniting these two import companies, which are entirely complementary to each other, we are more capable of offering our customers an even more extensive range of good quality products and high quality service.”
From the middle of this month all business activity of the newly merged enterprise will be running out of Total Produce’s facility in Rotterdam rather than Vevici Fruit’s premises in Zevenbergen.
