Hartlebury-based software provider Total Control Systems (UK), which specialises in supply chain management, has gone into administration.

Paul Masters, director at national corporate recovery firm Leonard Curtis, was appointed joint administrator of the company, which provides services for the import and export market and distribution industries, on Wednesday.

In a statement released by Leonard Curtis, the administrator revealed 19 of the 28 staff have had to be made redundant due to historic levels of debt at the firm. The administrators are continuing to trade the company with a view to identifying a buyer for the business.

Commenting on the administration, Masters said: “The business has a strong and committed client base. We have already received a number of expressions of interest and we are hopeful that a sale can be concluded within the next couple of weeks.”
