In this US presidential election year, many leaders in the fresh produce industry are paying close attention to candidates' campaigns and platforms, especially as they relate to agricultural issues. During PMA's Fresh Summit 2004, James Carville and Newt Gingrich will give attendees insights into the current political climate in Washington, DC; provide an up-to-the-minute look at the U.S. presidential election; and share information on how policy shifts could impact the produce industry during a general session titled "What's at Stake? Campaign 2004."

Fresh Summit will be held October 15-19 at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California. Additional information about Fresh Summit 2004 is available on the PMA website. Registration is currently open for Fresh Summit; hotel reservations will officially open on June 2.
