Liverpool Wholesale Market’s Tony Ferrigno, formerly of
G Ferrigno Ltd, passed away at the age of 80 on 3 October.
Described as “an influential importer of Italian produce”, Ferrigno joined the trade in the 1940s and took on various roles with the wholesale market over the years.
G Ferrigno Ltd issued the following statement: “It is with great sadness that we have to announce the death of Tony Ferrigno. Tony will be remembered as a well respected man with great humour and humanity.”
