Tesco gives away Fruit book

A new book on fruit is set to top the charts this week after entering Tesco.

Fruit, written by Mark Blaylock and published by The Little Big Voice, has launched into Tesco where it will be promoted with a stand in the fresh produce aisle.

It will be given away when customers spend more than £5 on fruit or available from Amazon and WH Smith for £7.99. The book, which bears no Tesco branding, is based on an idea by category director Nick Tatum.

The book has an accompanying website - thefruitbook.co.uk. Blaylock told FPJ he hopes it will further understanding of shelf life.
