This year’s South West Regional Growers Show is promising a range of enhancements to benefit grower visitors.

A seminar programme this year aimed at growers, will offer them a forum to exchange views, network with colleagues from across the region and discuss the latest issues affecting the industry. The programme with be chaired by NFU chief horticultural adviser Philip Hudson.

The South West Regional Growers Show, which takes place at the Matford Centre in Exeter on October 3, is regarded as the south west’s only trade event aimed at growers and plant buyers from local authorities, garden centres and retail outlets. It brings together growers and suppliers of specialist equipment and services and spotlights nurseries of excellence.

Show organiser Jon Day said: “We will be working hard to make it a show that reflects the importance of horticulture in the south west and the needs of our exhibitors and visitors.”
