Del Monte is revitalising its prepared fruit offer with the launch of Sun Ripened Fruits and extending its Fruitini range.

Billed as a healthy solution for consumers seeking easy ways to eat fruit throughout the week, the Sun Ripened products are presented ready prepared in resealable, transparent 410g plastic pots, with an RRP of £1.19. There are four different lines: Pineapple Chunks, Peach Slices, Whole Prunes and Tropical Fruits. Each variant uses top-quality cuts of fruit, packed in pure grape juice, to enhance the flavour. To complement the tropical flavour, the Tropical Fruit Mix features a blend of grape and passionfruit juice.

The new range is targeted at the young working population who sometimes struggle to fit enough fruit into their schedules.

And alongside its Fruitini pots and ices, Del Monte is now offering a high-juice drink for children. Available in Orange & Grape (73 per cent juice and 27 per cent water) and Blackcurrant & Grape (70 per cent juice and 30 per cent water), the drinks contain no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives.
