Stubbins goes to Index

Stubbins selects Index Computer Systems to implement new ERP solution to future-proof Stubbins’ business systems.

Following an internal business systems review, Stubbins, one of the UK’s leading salad growers supplying major foodservice and retail companies, selected fresh produce specialist, Index Computer Systems, to implement its new business system.

The full range of Axapta modules will be installed and the source code will also be provided for customisation by Stubbins’ internal developers. The system will integrate with Roadrunner, the transport system used by Continental Express, and the Microsoft Office suite.

The system will initially support approximately 75 internal users and a further 25

web-based users with access via the web portal.

Index said in a statement: “Axapta was chosen by Stubbins as it offered greater flexibility and a more open platform than other systems considered as it can be fully customised. Equally important was the confirmed commitment to future development from Microsoft, future-proofing Stubbins’ investment.”

Paul Cantrell, IT manager for Stubbins comments “Index’s extensive experience in our market and the strength and flexibility of the Microsoft Axapta solution they proposed made them the obvious choice.”
