A group of recognised international experts will present the newest developments across the produce trade at a high-level forum at Fruit Logistica.

The Freshconex Business Forum topics range from "new technologies for fresh produce convenience" to "innovations in marketing for fresh produce convenience" and "improved logistics and distribution for fresh produce convenience".

Organised by Eurofruit Magazine and the United Fresh Produce Association, the forum offers valuable market information along with excellent opportunities to exchange information with international business associates.

The third edition of Freshconex takes place at the Berlin Exhibition Grounds on 3-5 February alongside Fruit Logistica.

A complete market overview of the products and services in the rapidly growing sector will be presented in Hall 1.1, directly adjacent to the main entrance south.

Highlights include presentations from Philip Downey, market director of Amcor Flexibles, on shelf life, Stefano Cavallo, marketing manager for NatureWorks, on environment-friendly packaging and Elena Ripero Sola of Market Intelligence Team - Zenith International Ltd with Patrick Wauters, vice-president for northern and eastern Europe for Chiquita International, focusing on the massive leap in sales figures for smoothies over the past few years.
