Farm Refrigeration Ltd ceased trading on November 24.

Julie Vahey, of convening accountant Benedict Mackenzie, said: “The company stopped trading last week with a view to going into creditors voluntary liquidation on December 11. The statutory meetings have been called and formal notice to all creditors has gone out.”

Shareholders are being invited to appoint Amanda Ireland of McCabe Ford Williams as liquidator.

Farm Refrigeration was based at Marden in Kent and had built a strong reputation as a refrigeration and apple storage specialist. However, cash flow problems ultimately caused last week’s cessation of trading.
