New Spitalfields Market is continuing its promotional drive by taking a stand at next week’s Ethnic & Speciality Food Exhibition.

The exhibition, runs from November 23-24 at the Excel Centre in London’s Docklands, takes a look at some of the diverse range of food cultures available in the UK market.

Jim Heppel, secretary of the Spitalfields Market Tenants’ Association, highlighted the importance of participating in such an event.

“Under the generic banner of New Spitalfields Market, the stand will focus on promoting the market as the UK’s premier wholesale horticultural market, sourcing and providing the widest range of fresh produce from around the world to increasingly demanding and knowledgeable retailers and foodservice operators,” he said.

Heppel would like to hear from any tenants interested in donating fruit and vegetable products to take on the stand for the exhibition, or anyone interested in attending the show to assist in promoting the market.
