A group of Spanish growers from Almería and Granada enjoyed an early visit to New Spitalfields wholesale market last week.
The producers toured the market as part of the Andalusian Fresh Produce Outward Trade Mission arranged by Felipe Martinez Ares of Extenda UK, the office created by the Andalusian government aimed at bringing together British companies with firms from the region.
Janet Hutchinson, chief executive of Spitalfields Market Tenants’ Association, said: “The group were able to look around the market and meet some of the traders to discuss possible business connections for the future.”
