Anne Burchett has been appointed the new managing director of the Sopexa Group for its UK and Ireland offices.
Burchett will report to Charles Collard, regional managing director for the UK, Ireland and Benelux countries, who has relocated from London to the Sopexa Group head office in Paris.
She brings with her more than 20 years’ experience of both the British and French wine industries, having previously been managing director at Castel UK; UK sales and marketing director at Vinival; director of sales at Waverley TBS; and UK sales and marketing director at Skalli Fortant de France.
Collard said: “We are delighted to announce Anne’s appointment. She is a well known and well respected figure in the British wine industry, and brings enormous commercial and marketing expertise to the company.”
Burchett added: “I am delighted to join Sopexa, and I look forward to my new role with great enthusiasm. My mission is to consolidate Sopexa’s market leadership position in the promotion of French food and wine products on the UK market, as well as to attract new clients.
