A public service for David Shapley, the former FPJ editor who passed away this weekend, will be held on 4 November.
The thanksgiving service, to which friends and wellwishers are invited, takes place at St Mary's Church in Stoke D'Abernon, Cobham from 12pm.
The service will be followed by a buffet lunch and refreshments in the nearby Woodlands Park Hotel in Leatherhead.
