A top highland chef has become the first to use Really Garlicky’s fresh garlic shoots following their harvest.

The tender green shoots are similar to wild garlic and only available during the summer.

Charlie Lockley, head chef at Boath House in Scotland for 10 years, is using the garlic shoots as part of his seasonal menu.

Garlic shoots form at the top of Hardneck garlic plants, of which Really Garlicky is the UK’s only grower.

The product is available for consumers either direct from Really Garlicky or from any of its supply outlets. The 100-gram packs provide recipe ideas and serving suggestions.
