Schoeller Arca Systems Ltd has made a major investment in the UK production of plastic returnable trays and pallets as it looks to reduce its customers’ costs on reusable containers.
The company’s UK head office and warehouse is in Abingdon and the worldwide head office is located Zwolle, the Netherlands, with a workforce of 1,100 people worldwide and a turnover of €500 million (£435m).
Schoeller Arca Systems is one of Europe's largest providers of reusable plastic field trays and pallet bins and the firm believes that local production provides an opportunity for users to source a cost-effective, hygienic, reusable solution that reduces transport costs and carbon emissions.
Schoeller Arca Systems’ products include its Big Box pallet containers, Prelog folding field trays and dedicated products for the soft-fruit, top-fruit, and produce industries.
