Following the success of Florette's national salad week (July 7 - July 13) the event is set to become a regular fixture in the UK calendar.
Michelin-starred chef Raymond Blanc launched the week by creating the world's most expensive salad. The £650 salad was featured on Channel Five's Terry & Gaby Show and earned national press coverage in The Telegraph, The Guardian and The Sunday Times.
Florette's commercial director Mark Newton said: “We are delighted with the success of Florette's national salad week. We want people to be inspired by national salad week to think about salad differently and more creatively.”
Delia OnLine also joined in with the salad week celebrations, with special web pages dedicated to Florette, featuring salad recipes from Delia Smith and Florette.
