Sainsbury's launched a new lettuce into 360 stores on August 4. The Trinity lettuce combines three colours and varieties of lettuce, lollo biondo, lollo rosso and red oak leaf, which have been specifically chosen for their distinctive colours and textures.
“The Trinity Lettuce provides instant colour to any salad bowl, sandwich or garnish,” said Sainsbury’s. “It’s also great value for money as you gain variety without buying more than one lettuce.”
The Trinity lettuce is grown in the UK under glass. It will retail at 99p.
