Produce World subsidiary Isleham Fresh Produce is launching Heritage Beetroot into Sainsbury’s under the retailer’s premium Taste The Difference label next week.
The product is a bunch of three different beetroot varieties: white, golden and Chioggia.
The new line is only going into selected Sainsbury’s stores and buyer Vanessa Ryder said each type is “sweet enough to eat raw”.
