Parisian wholesale hub Rungis Marché International has become a partner of the Association Culinaire Française de Grand-Bretagne (the French Culinary Association of the UK).
The London-based association comprises more than 1,000 members, mainly chefs and caterers, 75 per cent of which are English.
The partnership is expected to help Rungis spread further its reputation for quality product sourcing to local chefs.
Rungis has also become the partner of the Bocuse d’Or Europe 2008, an annual event for chefs that this year will take place in Norway in July.
The Bocuse d'Or has taken place for chefs all over the world for 20 years, and the European edition is key in the selection for the final leg, which will take place in Lyon, France, in 2009.
