With effect from April 2, Dutch produce importer-exporter DTC Fruit and Vegetables was incorporated into Royal van Namen.

Along with imports from Egypt, India, Spain, Uruguay and South Africa, the firm’s focus will now widen to include products from Argentina, Chile, China, New Zealand, Peru and Turkey.

After 50 years as an independent entrepreneur, DTC founder Aad JF van der Kleij will enter into retirement. Aad van der Kleij Jr, who has been in the business for 25 years, will be joining the management team.
