The Royal Agricultural Society of England has announced the highlights of this year's Royal Show to be held at Stoneleigh Park in Warwickshire on July 1 to 4.

Exhibiting every aspect of rural life, from livestock and machinery to country clothing and the finest food and drink, the Show is aimed to appeal to anyone who has a passion and commitment to the British countryside and is set to showcase the best of British Agriculture.

The Royal Show has become a true celebration of British produce and local food samples and this year the Show organisers have given this the fanfare it deserves. The food and drink pavilion will offer a food theatre, innovative food awards and a dedicated area where visitors can savour the gastronomic delights available.

This will sit comfortably alongside the re-located prestigious Flower Show, where the giant floral exhibition is always a blaze of colour. The Show will also feature a fantastic array of entertainment and attractions, from a gardener’s question and answer time, flower arranging displays and demonstrations, to a clinic where visitors can ask for gardening advice and seek tips. Also on offer will be an inviting food area to sit, relax and unwind and try some of the sumptuous foods on offer while listening to the selection of musicians on the new bandstand - from paragon jazz to New Orleans.

Other highlights will include a variety of displays including ferrets and gundog training, where visitors can try their hand at shooting, archery, quad-biking and even experience the adrenalin-filled Land Rover 4x4 roller coaster; estate maintenance which will provide information and equipment for landowners looking for the most cost effective ways to maintain their land, including compact machinery, compact tractors, power tools and quad bikes; premier livestock and business forums where some of farming’s finest moments in cattle, sheep and pig classes will be shared, as well as prestigious shopping avenues which will be dedicated to exclusive products in true keeping with British country life including clothing, jewellery, accessories, footwear, arts and crafts, furniture and leisure activities.

Tickets for the Show are available online at www.royalshow.org.uk/tickets.
