The moving of the Flower Show at this year’s Royal Show from a pleasant pavilion at the edge of the site to inside a large gloomy warehouse-type building, has not pleased at least one long term exhibitor.
The change took place following the erection of the NFU building on the showground.
Steve Cleverdon exhibitor, from Exclusive Garden Design, Cheddar, Somerset, said he was not the only exhibitor who was unhappy with their exhibition area.
"Exhibitor numbers here have been declining. We will do one more show and if the Royal Show organisers do not improve the show site, we will stop exhibiting," he told Commercial Grower.
