Greenvale had a right royal surprise when none other than Queen Elizabeth turned up at a cookery demonstration sponsored by the company at the Turriff Show in Aberdeenshire last week.
The grower was at Scotland's second-largest agricultural show to promote its GreenVale brand, and was sponsoring a demonstration given by Lady Claire Macdonald, who was using the firm's potatoes in her recipes.
The Queen made the unexpected appearance as Lady Macdonald was creating her masterpiece of warm potato salad, potato pancakes and a potato-free dark chocolate and raspberry tart.
Elsewhere at the show, Greenvale's team served up baked potatoes to hundreds of visitors and raised money for Scottish charities Scottish Air Ambulance, Motor Neuron Disease, Scottish Huntington's and Perth Autism
