Dutch breeder Rijk Zwaan has been demonstrating its Salanova lettuce to great acclaim in Thailand.
Earlier this month ACK Hydrofarms in Bangkok welcomed 25 foodservice operators in the south-east Asian country to its processing plant for a demonstration on the convenience of Salanova with recipe ideas such as a butterhead smoothie, hot and spicy salad and a family salad.
Shoppers at two branches of TOPS Food Hall were also treated to Salanova demonstrations by a local Malaysian chef.
