Supplying fresh produce on a daily basis to city centre clients is a distribution nightmare but this is what Reynolds does and exemplifies the can-do ethos of all the finalists.

What began in 1988 as an arm of a traditional wholesaling business, the food service distribution business has grown enormously with projected sales this year of more than £40 million.

The company operates from several depots across the country and has a 70,000 sq ft London base in construction. Reynolds’s clients include some of the capital’s top hotels and restaurants along with concept retailers like Pret a Manger.
