Tailor Made Resources, a specialist in recruitment for food manufacturing and fresh produce industries, has today launched a new website designed to attract candidates who are enthusiastic about food.

The new website, www.tailormaderesources.co.uk, gives individuals looking for advancement in the industry the opportunity to view jobs on offer.

A small and specialist consultancy, Tailor Made Resources was founded four years ago by Louise Beales. With business partner Aimi Worley, she shared experience of recruitment and a passion for the food industry.

“The website is a shop window, not an electronic dating agency,” said Beales. “Personal contact is vital. If we can talk through people’s career plans with them we can suggest what they might do next and keep our eyes out for the right sort of opening. Equally, knowing the general ambitions of an employer, quite apart from any specific jobs that must be filled, helps us to find them the right sort of people for the future.”

Working for both small employers and the very largest, Tailor Made Resources feels that it is ideally placed to help any ambitious employee with their career plans.

The recruitment agency wanted a fresh, modern look to the website to encourage people to join the industry. “The food business is growing, changing and an exciting place to work,” said Beales. “The industry needs more bright people as it matures and develops. We have set out to be the prime recruiter of those people.”

The new website is expected to increase the number of candidates who register their details with Tailor Made Resources, to help them provide a wider choice for the growing number of employers using their services. The company is planning to move to a new, larger office in due course.

The new website was designed and produced for Tailor Made Resources by O2 Creative of Norwich.
