Revamp for Jazz website

Worldwide Fruit has launched its newly revamped Jazz apple website - www.jazzapples.co.uk.

The new site, which went live at the start of this month, will look to increase the number of visitors to the site with the aim of raising consumer awareness of Jazz apples.

The site has been given a complete overhaul to bring it in line with Jazz apples’ core brand values, and interactive sections have been added to assist with future marketing and promotional activity.

Features include a revamped news section, a recipe page containing 12 recently created recipes, information on Jazz apple sampling events, details on competitions being run, an image gallery containing apple bobbing images from recently attended events, as well as all the fundamental information on Jazz apples, where they can be bought and apple nutrition.

The new website also marks the launch of Jazz apple’s new Team Jazz Sports Sponsorship Scheme, which is looking for sport enthusiasts of all ages, backgrounds and sporting disciplines.

Team Jazz is offering a £1,500 support package with everyone from a 65-year-old BMXer, a future Olympic hurdler, or an accountant who has just started BASE jumping being urged to apply.

The scheme is seen as an important way to drive traffic to the site, with applicants being asked to download the application form from the new Team Jazz section.

May saw the single largest shipment of Jazz apples to the UK from New Zealand, and the UK’s second commercial Jazz crop is expected in October.

Jazz apples are a cross between a Braeburn and a Royal Gala apple with a strong red and yellow colouration, a dense crisp flesh, a juicy sweetness and a peardrop-like taste.

Jazz™ Apples is a registered trademark of Enza™.
