The QV Foods Multiple Retailer of the Year Award is this year being voted for by an independent Mumsnet consumer panel. The panel have been asked to vote which supermarket, regardless of where they shop, is the best place to buy fruit and vegetables based on quality, value for money and availability. The winner will be the retailer with the highest number of consumer votes from a list of Aldi, Asda, Lidl, M&S, Morrisons, Sainsbury’s, Tesco, The Co-operative and Waitrose.

The It’sFresh Overall Trader of the Year, selected from category winners, and the Florette Lifetime Achievement Award, will also be announced on the night.

Chairman of the judges, Nigel Jenney, said: “The judging panel were bowled over by the huge volume of high-quality entries this year. The finalists reflect the strength and diversity of the fresh produce trade, and there will be some truly outstanding winners on the night. I’d like to offer my congratulations to those that have been shortlisted, and urge those who didn’t make it this year to come back and try again next time.

“It’s going to be a wonderful evening of celebration and fine dining, so don’t delay in booking your place at the event.”
