The Fresh Produce Journal and Highbury-Nexus, organisers of the Re-Fresh Awards and Conference in association with the Fresh Produce Consortium (FPC), have announced the categories for the awards evening which will take place on May 6.
Pat Flynn, events and publications manager at Highbury-Nexus said: "The Re:Fresh Awards are an exciting new concept for the fresh produce industry, bringing together the four individual divisions of the FPC and celebrating their success." She added: "We are pleased to be working with both the FPC and the Fresh Produce Journal in bringing this to fruition."

For the new product or service contributing most to the development of fresh produce or flower trade
2. RE:FRESH Marketing Campaign of the Year
Open to any company, organisation or agency active in marketing fresh produce and ornamentals
3. RE:FRESH Foodservice Supplier of the Year
Open to all fresh produce businesses supplying direct to the catering trade
4. RE:FRESH Wholesaler of the Year
Open to fresh produce wholesalers trading in any UK-based market
5. RE:FRESH Secondary Wholesaler of the Year
Open to any wholesaler operating outside the wholesale markets
6. RE:FRESH Flower Trader of the Year
Open to any primary or secondary flower or plant wholesaler in the UK
7. RE:FRESH Packer of the Year
Open to any packer of fresh produce or flowers and plants
8. RE:FRESH Importer of the Year
Open to any fresh produce importer active in the UK
9. RE:FRESH Retailer of the Year
Open to any fresh produce retailer
10. RE:FRESH Young Salesperson of the Year
Open to anyone in fresh produce and flower selling under the age of 30
11. RE:FRESH OVERALL PRODUCE TRADER OF THE YEAR
