Asda is to stock red sprouts in the run up to Christmas.
The new red sprouts, due to go on sale at Asda iin the festive season, are the latest in a flurry of coloured produce adopted by the retailers.
The season for the sprouts, grown by John Lankfer Produce in Cambridgeshire, runs until February. They will hit stores on 1 December ahead of the festive rush for the product.
Asda also will once again be stocking its striking red Rudolph potato for Christmas while two weeks ago Albert Bartlett launched its Purple Majesty potato.
