The Really Garlicky Company has seen further success with its award-winning Eazy Garlic and Really Garlicky Butter, and the products are now being stocked in Tesco stores across Scotland.

The products - made from The Really Garlicky Company’s product grown at the foot of the Cawdor Hills in Scotland - scooped an award each at the Food and Drink Expo’s 2008 ‘Ideas to Dine For’ Awards, with Eazy Garlic coming top in the fresh fruit and vegetables category and the Really Garlicky Butter winning the dairy category.

Now the Really Garlicky Butter has been launched into 40 stores of Tesco across Scotland and the Easy Garlic - a crushed version of the allium that can be frozen - has made it into two.

Furthermore, the company has seen volume demand for its three-pack branded Patagonian Purple garlic increae in Scotland’s Waitrose, after four years of supplying the retailer.

Co-owner of the company Gilli Allingham told freshinfo at the Real Food Festival in May: “We think that garlic may be becoming more popular because of people are cooking more at home. Also, it is being sold as Scottish garlic so we have provenance on our side.”

With the eat-in trend in mind, Allingham has high hopes for the company’s new additions to the Really Garlicky range. The new products - Caramelised Onions with Scottish Garlic, Really Garlicky Dressing and Sweet Chilli Mayo with Garlic - are available from the company’s website and in delis and farm shops across Scotland and the UK.
