MBE Professor John Moverley OBE, chief executive of the Royal Agricultural Society of England (RASE), has confirmed the organisation will be holding a reception party for its guests at the World Fruit & Vegetable Show (WFV) on October 8 at ExCeL, London.
The RASE was granted its Royal Charter in 1840 by Queen Victoria, and is the organiser of the Royal Show. The RASE will play an active role in the forum programme organised alongside WFV 2008.
WFV forums this year include: the food miles debate; exporting by the rules; organic and technology; packaging update; consumer expectations; and a Defra PEACH Seminar.
