Growcom chief operating officer Alex Livingstone will become chief executive officer from September 8.
Livingstone joined the Australian peak horticulture organisation two and half years ago. Since then he has been in charge of finances and legal operations and the land and water industry services team.
He paid tribute to the work of outgoing ceo Jan Davis over the past seven years in taking the organisation from a peak body funded by compulsory statutory levy to a fully commercial business with a strong political stance.
Livingstone will focus in his new role on securing Growcom’s business side.
