Heat-sealing specialist Proseal has launched a new seal force system that increases the effectiveness of the sealing process.
The new EcoSeal system aims to achieve substantial reduction in air consumption compared with traditional high-speed tray-sealing machinery, saving energy in the process.
The technology behind EcoSeal means that seal force can be increased by as much as 190 per cent over conventional sealing machines while consuming only 30 per cent of the air required for a machine fitted with an equivalent standard pneumatic cylinder.
Simultaneously, the system has the potential to increase machine productivity through a reduced seal time, subsequently helping to maximise production.
