Spanish co-op Surinver has joined Murcia producer-exporters’ association Proexport.
The co-op’s commercial director Sebastián Aguilar said: “A lot of our growers have production in the Murcia region and we believe that joining the association is important, as through it we can offer our growers a better service and look after their interests better too.”
The co-op has some 460 producer members and grows iceberg, capsicum, speciality lettuce, celery, watermelon and citrus. It has some 1,500 hectares under open field and orchard production and a further 200ha under cover.
