Murcia producer-exporter association Proexport has beefed up its iceberg offer with the addition of two new members.
Natural Salads and SAT Peregrín have come into the Murcia organisation’s fold boosting the percentage of the Spanish iceberg export crop accounted for by its membership to 70 per cent: some 275,000 tonnes annually.
Natural Salads has 11 grower members and turns over €21million a year, while Peregrín has a turnover of more than €50m and a history stretching back 25 years.
