The International Federation for Produce Standards (IFPS) is holding a forum on global harmonisation of fresh produce standards on 10 February 2011 at Fruit Logistica.
The forum will be free to all attendees of the trade show, which takes place in Berlin on 9-11 February.
Speakers will cover global harmonisation of good agricultural practices, IFPS-GS1 traceability in practice, product identification across the globe, and global product classification.
The long term objective of the federation is to improve the supply chain efficiency of the fresh produce industry through developing, implementing and managing harmonized international standards.
