Produce Packaging will celebrate the re-branding of its company at the National Fruit Show next month, marking 25 years in business.
The packaging specialist will unveil a new-look logo at a launch party on the first day of the show, which will be attended by staff and customers past and present - including some of the company’s founders.
Commercial manager Mark Daisley told FPJ the company had enjoyed a successful trading period over the last 18 months, particularly in supplying expanded polystyrene trays for pre-packed topfruit. It also last year launched its website with an online waste packaging calculator to help with waste-data submissions, which he said had proved extremely popular and increased its profile.
“This is a very exciting time for Produce Packaging, I view this as the start of a new era, and I think our updated logo will reflect this," he said.
“We are re-branding and getting more modern and thinking bigger, but we will not forget how it all started.”
Produce Packaging, a division of agro-chemical company Hutchinsons, has grown from modest beginnings as a local packaging supplier to fruit growers in the Kent area with one depot, to a national business with three depots covering all aspects of fruit packaging, specialist vegetable packaging and presentation packaging for key lines for supermarkets.
“As a company, we are constantly developing our business and we have grown year on year from our humble beginnings. All at Produce Packaging can feel proud of our achievements so far, everyone has played an important part in our success,” he added.
