PotatoEurope 2009, taking place next month, is to host field demonstrations over around 30 hectares of land in the Netherlands.

The event is taking place in the Dutch city of Emmeloord on September 8-10 and will feature an international congress, exhibition and a number of field demonstrations to show the effects of various plant protection and fertilisation methods.

Harvesting and storing demonstrations will also be taking place and several trial plots where various seed potato varieties will be on display.

The harvesting demonstrations will be held on September 9 between 11am and 8pm and on September 10 between 11am and 4pm, which will be followed by a demo show in which all machinery manufacturers will participate.
