Thompson & Morgan is putting potatoes squarely in the spotlight as it puts 100 varieties on display at the Thompson & Morgan/Three Countries Potatoes stand at this year’s Chelsea Flower Show.
The display, ‘Potatoes through the ages’, will take visitors through the history of the potato from ancient varieties such as Potato Mayan Gold right up to the most modern day blight resistant Sarpo varieties.
Each of the four sections of the exhibit will display a wide selection of potato subjects of varieties discovered in that time period.
