During the Produce Marketing Association's Fresh Summit 2004 International Convention & Exposition in Anaheim, California, the 2004-2005 PMA Board of Directors took office on October 15.
Chairman of the Board Steve Junqueiro, vice president of operations, Save Mart Supermarkets, Modesto, California, is joined by three other officers and 21 directors.
The officers include chairman-elect Janet Erickson, executive vice president of purchasing & quality assurance, Del Taco, Inc, Lake Forest, California; secretary/treasurer Joe Nucci, president/CEO, Mann Packing Company, Inc., Salinas, California; and chairman of the executive committee Stephen J Barnard, president/ceo, Mission Produce, Inc, Oxnard, California.
The PMA executive committee consists of Barnard, Junqueiro, Erickson, Nucci, Board members Reggie Griffin, vice president of produce merchandising & procurement, The Kroger Company, Cincinnati, Ohio, and Bruce Taylor, chairman/ceo, Taylor Farms California, Inc., Salinas, California; and PMA president Bryan Silbermann.
