Megan Miller has joined the Produce Marketing Association (PMA) as a PR officer, bringing her background in agriculture, media relations and industry outreach to the association’s PR team.
Miller is responsible for creating and executing PR activities supporting the US association as well as member relations, events, products and services.
She will also work on the 2010 Fresh Summit International Convention & Exposition on October 15-18.
Focusing on media relations and member communications, she will help expand the association’s use of social media and multimedia to connect with PMA members. She will also support the association’s issues and crisis management team. She will reports to PMA PR director Julia Stewart.
Stewart said: “We are thrilled to add Meg’s real-world personal experience in agriculture, and her professional experience in ag communications, to the PMA team. As our members look for new and more ways to get the information they need to grow their businesses, PMA will be there for them, providing year-round value to our members.”
