The worldwide exhibitor promotion campaign for Asia Fruit Logistica has been launched ahead of next September’s conference.

The event takes place on September 8-10, 2010 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.

This year’s event proved to be a highly effective platform for generating business, with over 3,100 buyers and trade visitors from 52 nations viewing the products and services of 224 exhibiting companies drawn from 31 different countries.

More than 80 per cent of attendees were closely involved in the purchasing processes of their companies with 82 per cent of exhibitors specifically targeting the conclusion of contracts and 93 per cent looking to initiate future business deals, achieving their objectives, according to research

Gérald Lamusse, managing director of event organiser Global Produce Events GmbH, said: “It is results such as these that made the presence at this year’s Asia Fruit Logistica so valuable for the organisations exhibiting at the event. Major suppliers from around the world have clearly recognised the value and benefited from it directly this year, which is why interest in exhibiting next year is already so strong.”
