Pink Lady sampling teams were on hand across 30 UK M&S stores

This Valentine’s Day Pink Lady® apples tried to add a little romance to the aisles of Marks & Spencer.

The apples were sampled in 30 key stores across the UK. Instead of giving flowers and champagne as gifts, the Pink Lady® sampling team aimed to encourage scores of shoppers to give a Pink Lady® apple this year to loved ones this year.

It was estimated that several thousand shoppers sampled during the in-store activity. Marks & Spencer category marketer Ray Mak said: “Valentine’s Day seemed like the perfect day to introduce Pink Lady® apples to new consumers. Our customers appreciated the chance to sample this great tasting, refreshing apple as they shopped for their Valentine’s Day treats."
